Nw why would someone spend the extra few grand it costs to buy a syncro if its going to be used as a taxi? I mean it looked great and all that (for a T4 ) but why not just get a 2wd one? It looked like a dedicated taxi too as opposed to just some punters van that he uses as a taxi the odd time. It was black and had smoked lenses on the back and a spare wheel carrier with the syncro spare wheel cover on it.

Cause there better in the wet and on the ice and snow? and Taxi drivers need to get there fast and pick up the next ride and keep earning.

I expect the driver just acknowledges the superior driving safety of a syncro for his own and for his passengers benefit. By the sounds of it he likes his motor too.

Fair point. I mean it was a nice van. Just unusual I thought.
