Fitting a propex heater

Does anyone have any experience of fitting a propex heater to a Westy?
I'm assuming it can be supplied from the under slung gas tank?
How's the wiring? I'm a complete novice at this, and it puts the fear of god into me!!
It's a second hand unit I'm thinking of buying. Heater, loom, controller all in for 250squid. Anything I should look out for when buying.
Thanks for your patience.
Lee

To be honest if you are not competent with gas plumbing and electrical s you prob should get someone who is to fit it for you, as LPG and sparks make big booooms!

It's not a difficult job but it needs doing properly and safely, masking tape and twisted wires just won't "do" !

It can be supplied from the under slung tank and your leisure battery .
I'm not sure if it s a good price , I haven't researched the prices of used propexes
However I wouldn't suggest you buy any that wasn't complete with wiring loom and exhaust / inlet pipes

Someone will be along soon enough to tell you of a fitter in your area and all you need to know !

£395 for the latest model complete , inc guarantee v £250 s/hand..... nah ,new its a no brainer really and as ^^^^ says gas and the like, better maybe to get someone to fit for you, they are simple but still have certain rules that should be followed
