Full spoiler/valance causing rust

When we first bought our van, we did not realise the pretty spoilers/valance all the way around was trapping water and underneath was completely rusted out. Is there any way to refit them after panels replaced so they no longer trap water?

make them removable like the vw items and dont bond them to bodywork

Many thanksThe problem then becomes the gap between the spoiler and the bodywork at the top.

hmm, those things are a lifestyle choice and with them comes the problem your facing,
you wont stop anything happening behind them, so maybe just live with them and at some point in the future remove them and fit vw side planks
