Was there ever a middle row with a tilt seat?

Did VW ever make two-seat middle benches where one of the seat backs tilted forward? Just thinking aloud..... I have a Caravelle with a two-seat middle row. I want to fit a kitchen unit along the side wall, behind the driver's seat, but narrow enough so that I could still fit the middle row of seats if I wanted to, only fitted closer to the sliding door (I'd take them out when I went camping). This would just about work (depending on the depth of the kitchen unit), but it would make it a bit hard to get into the back row of seats. But if one seat tilted forward.... Anyone seen any?

Mine folds down then tips vertically to give a walk through area. Not sure whether you would be able to locate one though given the scarcity of SA buses.

You might find a folding two-seater from another vehicle though. I too toyed with this idea and concluded it was better to lose those two seats altogether and just make a new buddy seat.

CovKid, that was my other option. I thought of making up a buddy seat, with another 'half a buddy seat' on the other side of the gangway (along side the kitchen unit). That way, an extra piece to bridge the gap ebwteen the two seats, you could have bench seating on both sides of the table.
Will I ever get round to any of this? Probably not.....

My rhd Caravelle had a middle double seat in it where the left most seat back tilted to allow access to the rear triple seat.
We then found one where both seat backs tilted (I assume from a twin slider) and swapped it out for that as the kids often enjoy travelling with the middle seat reversed.
Fits a treat with a standard Westy kitchen block.
same as this only blue and both seat backs tilt.

Only just thrown the original single tilt double seat away after several attempts to sell and then give it away sorry.
I’ll put a pic. Up at the weekend if that helps you locate one?

mig - what a shame I didnt put a wanted ad for one! I am using a standard fixed seat for the middle row and it is too big for anyone other than kids to squeeze in the back (once you are in it is OK though). mind you I need one where the RH one folds down as mine is a westy.
I will have to continue my search......

What's that big black and silver thing stuck on the end of the seat?
