Father please forgive me?

I thought I was going to buy my syncro and then get bored and move on... But I'm really enjoying using it, it's a RHD Panel van and it's fully kitted out with a fixed camping interior. But I'm feeling the urge to mod it further to suit my needs. High top and a window in my sliding door.

Am I commiting a big sin to the syncro fraternity?

Sell the door and buy one with a window already in it. There can't be that many sliders without windows left.

Good point about the door, queue the swaps add..

I worked out how much money I save a year by just using a van

Has this orange van got an autohomes roof on it? I think it looks good.

I thought the only hard / pop top combo was the cathargo

It's very tempting to buy and transfer Syncro parts over.

yup looks like a weinsberg, the same as the tigerbus. i think if i had found one before a westy roof became available i might have gone for it instead. i am only 5'8" so the westy has much more headroom than i need ( until i use the enormous top bed then its perfect). the Weinsberg seems to be the best of both worlds.
i think that tigerbus only used it as a high top though.

I think there's both types from Wiensburg.

A high top and a hightop pop top.

Both a rare and hard to find, but not as hard to find as an uncut panel van.

Just been reading the last bit of this post, I have a Weinsberg Hi Top / Pop Top.
Bought it last July and did a search for Weinsberg on here just after I joined but came up with nothing at that time!
Mines a Weinsberg Terra 2.1 DJ, imported from South Africa around 2005 so minimal rust, and all pretty much original.
Brilliant van.

Impressive van, Winnie.
The South African connection explains your right hand drive and kmph speedo (saw the question mark in your Garage listing). Mine is the same (except for the Weinburg bit :rofl )

Hi, I know you were looking to go to a meet/laning, if you could make it to Coney I'm sure you would have all your questions answered and more. It is definately the best place to see conversions and hear of 'up and coming' conversions from those that know :)
I will be there working on my van with syncro mates :)
