Have a look in the wiki for the relay mod or do a search.
I have the inner lights wired to a relay which is switched by the main beam feed.

Not that I know to much about elektrickery, and the fact that I had inner spots that I could wire straight into the SA grill... But could you not just piggyback from the full beam on the outers? Or does it run the risk of overloading something!

I think that would overload the standard system.
You need to feed them via relay which is triggered by the main beam feed.
I actually have four relays and two 12v feeds.

Sounds like an idea, but i imagine your square lights were wired into a relay or something.

All factory wiring, as the square headlight set up I swapped from comes with inner spots as standard. So was all plug and play for me. I should be doing the headlight relay mod this weekend, I'll post up pics on my thread

@Lloydy, I for one would be delighted to see some of your pics whilst doing the relay mod. Earthing points on the front panel, route taken for getting the feed from the battery to the lights, etc. Cheers.

This is the main beam wiring taken from the South African wiring manual.
Tracks 109 to 112 are the main beams

Sure, it will go on my thread in syncro section 'getting there' I've made up all the connections for the relays themselves, just need to cut it into the loom, Sunday hopefully.... You don't need to run a cable from the battery, there is already a big fat cable from battery to fuse board, so you just connect to that on the back of the board.
Pics are better than words, stay tuned........
