Last item to find, 2 x Front Saddle Bushes. Struggling as dont know what they are, can anybody tell me wgat they are best place to buy!!
Many thanks in advance.
Van is a 1983 2.0 Aircooled.

You're from Yorkshire and you're buying from VW Heritage
I would take it to mean wishbone bushes but hey ....

I haven't bought from anywhere yet Ian - and I'm open to suggestions!!
Full list is, 2x Saddle bushes, ball joint boot, o/s/f wheel bearing, steering rack gaitor, n/s/f anti roll bar link; only reason mentioned VWHeritage is there prices came up first! (And like I say without saddle bushes £80 worth)
A bit more thinking I'm assuming you're thinking I should use a Yorkshire outlet!

Interesting afinity to Brickwerks....the majority of what they sell is undoubtedly the same as from companies like VW Heritage...However, the difference being that Brickwerks use the products that they sell in their own workshop so have 'weened' out the poor quality items and sourced better replacements.
In short....whatever you order from them, you can be assured of good quality.

Oh I don't know, I like the mix n match in terms of sourcing spares. You'd be amazed how often VW themselves beat everyone on quality and price. Depends what it is. If you've ever bought parts for japanese cars or bikes when there is little if any choice of suppliers, you'll know how expensive it can all be. I no more buy all my parts in one place than I do my groceries, but then my day job promotes this approach to shopping and it shows in my bank balance.

Brickwerk's service also matches their quality parts.
Order before 12 and it will be with you the next day

You're right.
I don't use BY for everything
I enjoy searching, and will buy genuine whenever possible even used.
But for MOT components there's only one.

My local VW Commercial outlet is extraordinarily good. There are some things (bolts in particular) that I won't go to VW for but we have a bolt specialist in Cov anyway - same with bearings. Theres not much left of the Midlands engineering heritage in terms of outlets but there does seem to be a 'sod it, I'll make one" approach in this neck of the woods with some really knowledgable people around. I'm old-school so learnt to fabricate and think laterally whereas a lot of places are just full of 'fitters' now. All very sad when the expertise can still be found out there.
