Blast media.

Can anyone suggest an on-line supplier of media as I fear my 20kg bag may not be enough as I'm doing it in the open without any means of recirculating it? It's cheap enough to buy but I'm not sure about the carriage costs - what are others on here doing? Thanks in advance. Mitch.

I've been given a 25 kg bag of rather exotic black coloured stuff that is used for aluminium castings. I've used it in the past for cleaning steel gearboxes and all other types of work that has necessitated blasting. However, never used it for cleaning rust. It may or may not be appropriate - I'm open to advice. Cheers.

hodge clemco are the supplier, they have depots all over,

i use Jblast (supafine25) 25kg bags about £7 ea, for some areas but its grain size limits it to certain
and then stone grit xtrafine (sgextrafine) 37.5kg bags about £8.50 ea
they deleiver by the bag or pallet contact them for your area,
dont reuse the shyte not worth the time and air, also its not a good parctice for many other reasons

If you search ebay and you want to use glass i seem to remember seeing something like 40 25kg bags for £150 delivered.
