I'm trying to identify the exact model carb that i have fitted.
The only numbers that I can find on the carb are; 23A K2 these are stamped on a plate on the back of the carb, but they don't correspond to any Weber models that I can find.
I'm having snags with my van and think that it may be running lean but don't want to just mindlessly tweek and don't want to pay a garage to sort it, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone who is good with these vans and lives near Gosport and who has a spare 5 min for me to bounce ideas off would be brill too

What engine do you have ? If it's a 1.9 DG then the best thing would be to buy a pre-appreciated Pierburg ... you know the one VW fitted in the first place Weber carbs may be great on some cars but NOT on a T25.

Ian.

It's a 2.0ltr CU Aircooled engine.
I'd love to buy some new carbs for the van and ditch this one however not sure my wallet can manage that for a while so I need to get this one running properly if I can.

I thought (from the deep recesses of my mind) that the first two no.s denoted the bore on Webers - so 23A is 23mm? Something is not right here methinks.

They do, that's why I'm having snags ID'ing it, it doesn't have the normal ID no.s on it
