Hello,

Does anybody now where i can buy a new alternator voltage regulator for my 2.1 MV 1990 Syncro please? The part number is 1 197 311 005, and under that it says el 14v 4c. Im really struggling at the moment and i keep getting told to ring a dealer when i ring around the normal places

That number cross references to a Lucas UCB403
Try Camberly Auto Factors Richmond Road.

14 volt Bosch type with 90 degree brush set...for 28mm slip ring alternator.

Ring and ask for MARK on the number below....the part number for their regulator is : VERG 1001 (they checked and crossed referenced using your number)

Cost is £8.00 plus £2.95 postage...they have just one on the shelf.
