I have recently had my van broken into. Looks like it is very easy to do just by forcing a screwdriver between the door handle and the door.
Has anyone dealt with this problem? I have noticed armor plates on the handles on other van. My question is there any on the market for t25? O mayne there are any other suggestions how to secure the van? I have central locking, so i will block all the key holes, but looks you don't need them to brake in anyway.

here is the damage on the door. You can barely see it but it's there. Under the marks on the plastic seal.

Better to spend your money on making sure any thief can't hotwire it and drive away. I wish them luck on mine. They have no chance. PM me if you need ideas, security issues don't go on open threads.

i have made door armour plates for mine.

i also have mecanical deadlocks on all doors so only one door is able to open from the outside - without braking some glass.

tho breaking a window is not your normal theif and will set the alsrm off ( as well as opening the door)

remember tho nothing is bullet proof , just a good deterent!

Wiring, tracking, etc. is a different topic. Mine has alarm that operates the central locking and goes off once you open the door or try to break anything.
Now I see a weak spot in here, because its just a matter of one move that takes one second to open the door.

armour plates may help, but Mrs Merc once opened the front doors of around five or six T25s in a matter of 2 mins at RunToThe Hills one year. No effort either. If you'd seen it, you'd see that armour plates are much further down your list in terms of limiting access. This did come up a few years ago on here and a similar conclusion was reached. I can't expand further in this thread. Its more for the Members Only forum.
