Hi all,
I am looking at totally redoing the interior of my van to bring it more to my odd tastes, i like bold colours and have found a guy who laminates mdf in pretty much any colour. My question is as mdf soaks up water and is heavy, can you laminate plywood? Now to find the fake grass to put on the floor!!!

Plywood is already a laminate.

Bit sure what you are on about. Ply is a laminate as said Truly laminating mdf would seem like waste of time. What are you really on about? Adding a layer of coloured plastic to mdf? This should be easy and will work just as well with ply.

Definitely
Ask your mdf man and I'm sure he will oblige and for stability purposes make sure the other face is laminated with a "balancer sheet" as well.
This will stop it taking in any moisture and curling

Thanks for the info, yep looking at getting a coloured plastic laminate on top, the wood look is not my kind of thing, thinking more of a bright white and grass green
