Weird Sound

Everytime I knock my T4 off it makes a weird sound which I can not fathom... It sounds similar to a trucks air brakes when the hand brake is applied... Like ppppsssssssshhhhhhhhhhhttttttTTT sound. I think it comes from beneath the box or possibly the speaker...? Has any one any idea what it could be.....it's beginning to infuriate me

My mates T5 had a similar sound....it came from the footwell, and apparently is the brake pedal return mechanism which has a seal on it which drew air in as it had split. Might be completely wrong but worth checking. I think he sealed his with a bit of gaffer tape as the defect didn't effect the brakes. Of course, it could be something completely different
