Right folks... Where is the best place to get exhaust, and will deliver or post.
Just removed mine, with view to weld. To far gone, and its only a few years old.
Had a look at J.K. they don't look to bad, and they do all the brackets Etc. Has anybody had one from them and is it still Ok.

Thanks for input guys. Got one from JK in the end.
Hears something for you Tekky Types. I have my own ideas.
When I first got the bus, the exhaust was a bit dodgy, so I replaced it with a patten one from Wagon Werks (No longer trading).
I keep a rough record of MPG by knowing the mileage for every £20 of fuel I put in. (aprox 100) After fitting the said exhaust, (from WW) I noted the MPG. I was doing Less MPG, knowing fuel had increased in price I put it down to this.
When this exhaust gave up the ghost (end of Aug) I drove some 1500 miles with it sounding like a stock car, a lot of the trips were motorway, with a heavy foot ( I love that sound).Fuel consumption now better than ever?
Fitted the new one from JK 10 days ago. Fuel consumption even better.
I have had 4 top ups at £20 and am showing 125 miles (average )

£ to miles isnt really a very good way to monitor, as the price varies so much and keeps going up..
L you put in and distance is far more meaningfull..

Funnily enough my syncro doka has just been driven 7000+ KM since mid July... and generally motorway at a consant 3600-4000 rp; for hours at a time, (literally 3 hours either side of Paris, only slowing for 2 toll gates)
and has returned 24-26mpg, with or without the canopy/load.. and its a 1.9DG also

And yes, exhaust systems are a black art... voodoo in fact....

all being well i will be produceing a performance exhaust for the 2.1/1.9 for early 07 expect 10% gain in performance and (set up corectly!) better fuel economy !!
