Can someone give me some advice, i was out yesterday in my beloved camper Shirley, when suddenley the speedo stopped working , my milage is still working though. can anyone help me with this matter as i am not very technical.

Will be the drive gears inside chap.
Never had the speedo stop and mileage work though . I've had (and appears to be most common) odometer go. If you ever take one to bits they have very small/fiddly/plastic drive gear inside. The fact that speedo still works rules out cable.
The price of secondhand parts these days i would look at getting yours refurbed try http://www.speedycables.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , think its about £60-70 BUT you know the bits inside will last another good few years AND you can get it recalibrated if you are running different OD rims/tyres
