For £30?
It could be total junk.....
Don't think I'd risk it, I'm not into tools that break - once had a socket shatter and the bits hit me in the face wasn't nice

I got precisely that set as a christmas gift a year ago and it's been fine. It's not like I use them every day but they're perfectly adequate for an average spannerer like me. The plastic case is a bit crappy but the sockets haven't rounded any heads yet and the ratchets have a decent enough action.

That looks like the set Lidl's sell for about the same price it's actually not bad, more than adequate for the home mechanic. The Allen keys are wank though.

That's what i thought Dickie...a rough set to chuck in the boot and get nicked one day

Expect the Allen keys are indeed, not up to much, as although all these adverts say 'Chrome Vanadium' or similar, they probably are, but it''s the quality of the heat-treatment that is so importnat, hardening and then toughening accurately, which falls short and which is likely the story behind those junk front Syncro CVJs that 'broke' (yes not wear out but broke while hill-climbing)
