Reverse cables on battery charger

Apologies if this should be in 'electrical' but it's not a VW problem.
I put a 12v motorcycle battery on charge in the shed (not connected to bike) but in a prat moment put Neg to Pos and Vice versa. That was a couple of days ago. The LED charge indicator lights on the charger are all lit up and fuse on charger not blown but there is no output on the croc clips. Have I bu**ered the charger?

Clutching at straws but maybe, just maybe, it's internally fused just prior to the output cables exiting the unit but after the 'charging' indicators internally.
Worth a shot.............

Is it an 'intelligent' charger - Optimate or similar? Often there is no output when under no load.

Assuming the bike battery is still flat, have you tried putting the charger the correct way around and tried charging the battery overnight?

OK will have a go. It's not Optimate but if I, say, put a 12v bulb across it, should it light up if the chargers ok?

Of its "intelligent" then a bulb isn't enough load unless its at least a headlight bulb iirc
It more than like a thermal cut out I would think
