There bbs 7j 5x112 16"

What offset are they?

I'm not to sure I'm finding out more info tomorrow so ill let you no thanks matey.

Just looking at the piccie here at home, they look like they'll have too high an offset to fit directly on - they look like they're in the 40's or 50's. I assume they're off a T4 or T5 (I dunno anything about them!)

The "correct" fitment for 7J would be low 30's (or even a bit lower for the rear), though numbers close to that will fit.

My steels are 16" x 7J ET31, and they're just about perfect for scrub radius and are within a mm of what the standard alloys would have been if the were widened equally both sides out to 7J.

No they'll not fit straight on...the same as 99% of non-T25 alloys won't.

They're VW Sharan alloys.
ET59 and 57mm centre bore.

Extra long rear studs and front bolts plus 30mm spacers will be required....which is do-able but the spacers will need to be 66mm hubcentric and the wheel centres will need to be enlarged to 66mm to match the spacers.

Could turn out to be very expensive!

You can bore out the centre hole with a nice circular something and a die grinder, as T3's aren't hubcentric, thay're lug centric.

The proper spacers will cost more than the wheels though.

Merc alloys would be easier to fit, and SOME of them come in offsets thay fit or only require thin spacers.

True about T3's not being hubcentric but if fitted with spacers over 15mm the spacers really need to be hubcentric,and 66mm centre bore ones,to safely hold the wheels fitted to them.

Thanks lads I'm not haveing the Vw alloys now iv got my bids on a nice set of merc alloys on eBay so hopefully I get them.

No kev I didn't check the load rating like I should of. Iv taken abit of a gamble. How would I find out the load rating and what should it be?

16's or 17's?

Either way they're C Class Cygnus alloys and should be staggered fit....7"X16" ET37 front and 8"X16" ET32 rear.
Longer front bolts and longer rear studs plus 6mm spacers for the front.

If 17's then again they should be staggered fit....7.5" ET36 front and 8.5" ET30 rear.

The bolt holes will require drilling out from 12mm to 14mm...if they've not been done already?

6mm spacers can also be used on the rear to fill the arches out more...that's down to personal choice though.

As for load rating...a C Class estate has a gvw of approx 2155kg.
