Folks need your advice!! Think my Devon roof is starting to let water in:( does anyone know the best way to repaint it so it becomes waterproof again, if so whats the best paint to use.

and get some white high gloss gel coat

It is highly unlikely that the glassfibre is letting water permeate through (it isn't as though it is constantly immersed in water and you are getting osmosis) - it is more likely that you have a leak elsewhere.

Umm that's a bit worrying although it does seem to be both sides of the sky light and spreads out about 12" each side. Possibly look at re-sealing the sky light:(

We are coming to the conclusion that condensation is causing similar problems in our pop-top.

In spite of being under a cover, everything is soaked around the roof vent and there are various accumulations of water elsewhere.

As of today, we are leaving it with the cover off and the kitchen vents open. If this doesn't work, we will try heating it with a light bulb or something similar.

We hosed the roof for about 20 minutes today and there wasn't a hint of a leak.

see if theres any wooden batten aroun your skylight and see if its wet
roofs dont leak unless theres a hole or split in the glass fibre

The sunroof in the defender suffers from horendous condensation. The seats are wet through some mornings. The trick seems to be to throw a piece of old carpet over it at night. The problem goes away.

if you ever come down my way ill take a look for you and you can have some gel coat and what ever you need for free
