trying to lift the front of my syncro in the same manner as jed in his video. Only im haveing a bit more problem than him...
Ontop of the front shock there is a small piece of tubing wich he referes to as bushing or tube. in his video the tube seems to be loose.
What im actually asking is if the tube/guide/bushing is loose on all vans? is it free to just pound it till it comes out or might my model be one with a welded guide?

my van is a -85 syncro

It should be loose...most likley stuck on with rust...easier to sort it when the shocker is off the van.

Ahh..that's rubber round it? Will just be stuck in place...give it a wobble with a screwdriver..will come away.

Looks like a new one would be a good idea to!
