lots of differnt golf engines also you need to bemore specific!
you want yours dropped out and another non turbo 1600d engine thrown in unserviced so its starts but with no gaurentee? - plenty of arthur dailys willing to do it
or you want fully rebuilt engine / gearbox all vag replacemnet service items / oil cooler / charge cooler / mounts welded in / rewired ready for you to drive until the rest of the van falls apart?

just did one for a customer.
Was TD to GTI.
It was 3 grand.
However, it had front to rear coolant pipes, radiator pipes clutch pipe yada yada.
It included a new fuel tank, new fuel pump, stainless brackets..
Customer supplied his own engine.
So, 3 grand plus your Diesel conversion bits.
If you came here.
I'm sure there is cheaper than me.

Still need the diesel stuff to make it fit.
Funnily enough, I do happen to have the requisite collection of diesel parts minus a bell housing. I could be persuaded to part with them for a small fee.

Well I have been kind of lumbered with it all after shelling out a fair amount. As my engine went in upright, I don't need them. Was going to save it just in case, but need to raise some money.
Will have to stick it on classifieds
