have been offered a set of alloys which are v nice. However, the nice old lady who is selling them has no idea what pcd or offset they are. They are off a Ford Grandad and have the following marks on the alloys:
6J x 15 x 18
92GBVB
Does anyone know where I can check this out - tried to look on the wiki and on the wheel section of BY but it seems to be a bit dead at the mo.
Any help appreacited.

What do they look like? are they similar to Merc five spokes? if they're off a Grannie the PCD should be correct.

Hi Shepster - cheers for the reply.
They are six spoke, five stud.
have no pics and am driving 180 miles for them if they will fit as they are almost new so I want to be sure.
They dont look like Kevs, or they would if his were 6 spoke.
Trying to find what the ref number mean at the moment.

You'll have to drill the centres I think.

Well guys, I am heading off in just over an hour, the little old lady tells me they are grandad wheels and she has measured the PCD with a rule!!!

and it is 112.
So wish me luck.
(if they do not fit I may well return to visit her and put a bat up her nightdress!!!)

Well, here I sit in my WiFi enabled, veggie B&B 180 miles from home. The Duncan Fearnley bat is linseeded and ready for tomorrow.
I will post a pic here of either me smiling holding a wheel, or a ver startled old lady, who may also be smiling.
On a serious note - what rubberwear should I get to keep the speedo as accurate as a vw speedo cab be, when running the 15" wheels?
Cheers, Paul.

Youre such a "bar-steward" having a little old lady measuring wheels for you!

Make sure she balances them and fits them for you when you get there, and torques the nuts correctly!

Went in the Pug so only managed to get it washed and valetted
We are currently tripping over a set of five refurbed alloys in the kitchen. They are mint and cost the grand sum of £100 cash - tried to ignore the Granada on bricks just down the road!!!!! - just kidding
If it stops peeing down with rain I am going to see if they fit later this afternoon - WATCH THIS SPACE..
Cheers all for the help
