On my tailgate, Left LHS badge says 'volkswagon'. On the RHS the badge says 'camper' or maybe camping I can't remember. Anyway I have seen some that on the RHS it says 'joker'. Which is the correct original badge. My guess is that it should say joker but am unsure.

I have searched the Internet for the joker badge and can't find one.

Anyone that knows anything about this???

Camping badge is correct for your van.

The one on the left should say Volkswagen.

Yes the left says volkswagon and the right says camping. If you look on the weatfaliat3 website it shoes the tailgate badges and the left volkswagon one is slightly different and the right badge says joker. It's in the model history section.

Indeed. I fall foul of the same thing all the time. I use the Tapatalk app to access the forum via my phone and very rarely use the computer.

I think Rob's point is what would predictive text change "Volkswagen" to "Volkswagon" when Volkswagon is not the correct spelling? But then I've had some really really bizarre corrections.

Anyhow back to the thread. There are many different badges depending on the model and conversion. If yours is an original Joker conversion then one would assume that it should have the joker badge. However if it's been done buy someone else, maybe salvaged parts put in a new van etc, then it may have retained the original factory badge. Of course there's also the chance that the original badge got lost, broken or stolen and was replaced at some point with the wrong one. Who knows?
