Where is the air filter located?

Also i have an AAZ 1.9td engine.

Is the the right air filter for my van:

HELP!

VW never fitted the 1.9 AAZ into transporters
so as it's a modified engine .. did the air filter get changed when the engine was changed?

Yeh the aaz was put in by syncro nuts.
Not sure but mot guys said i need to change air filter and havent a clue where it is.

Left hand side of the engine there should be a large black cylindericle shaped object. At one end the are 3 snap clips. It's in there.

Ok sweet. Ive checked and there isnt anything in there that i can see.

Is that filter on brickwerks site that i bought the right one?

No air filter inside? There should be a nut that yin undo the the filter slides out.

The air filter you bought is the right one if you have what I described earlier.

If there is no air filter in there then obviously your emission issues aren't caused by a blocked filter.

Just had a proper look.

Filter is in there so just need to replace that.

just for a futer note I'd leave it for more than 20 mins before thinking no one is gonna help!!!

!.9 aaz is an after market lump any sort of filter could have been fitted!

Maybe a photo of the engine bay could help us.
