Hi all,

Been offered a set of wheels with winter tyres for a great price - they won't fit on the Audi as it's brakes are too big.

The PCD is 5x112, so will fit on van. The tyres are 205 55 16 and offset ET50 - I think this will fit, but can anyone offer any confirmation? I know smeller tyres are better in snow, but figures these should do the job just in case. I'm on 184C14 just now.

OKay, ignore me, I've been on the Wiki.

Looks like ET50 aion't recomended and I've now learned that the bore on the T25 is different to most VWs. Bummer.

Plus 205/55/16's are car tyres.

Just fit 185R14C winter tyres to your wheels if it's winters you want.

Easier said than done Steve, very little choice in that size, only Hankooks available at the moment fitted.

Looking around at other places the tyretrader price seems very good.

Absolutely. I couldn't believe some of the prices, will be getting some for my Corrado too I think.

Don't all rush. A) they sent me the wrong tyres and B) there are now none in stock on the website.
