Rear Fogs

Just a quicky....are 25's sposed to have a rear fog both sides, as my left side holder has no bulb, well actually no + terminal in the holder, just the 'hole' for the bulb........might be a case of removing the dash switch for mot tomorrow!!
Its a 84 if that makes any difference.

Just one side (right or centre for UK) needed for mot you can have both sides I think. heres how I did it.

Ah......cheers. I best refit the switch then!!!
That would also explain why my daily failed its mot on fog lights even tho one worked!!!
The right hand one had blown!!! Leaving only the left one working......
Everyday's a school day!!!!

Right side (or both) looking at the rear (when installed in the rear lamps).....DON'T FORGET! you need a warning light on the dash either a seperate bulb holder or illuminated switch to indicate when the fog lamp is turned on.

Just for info, my van (early, base spec, French) has no fog lights whatsoever, no switch, no wiring and no terminals in the lights. So it's possible one of your rear lights was replaced at some stage.

You can just fit an external foglamp to the bumper but doesn't really make much sense when you can mod the lamp to carry a bulb...
