Yep, a 75 rather on the low side for a leisure. Ideally you want 100 or more.

I second that ghop99 as I'm just due to replace my leisure battery too!
(existing one sits too high)

You're not going to get a 100amp leisure to fit in a T25 under seat battery box with lid....unless it's a very expensive spiral cell Optima or similar.
The biggest standard starter battery capacity will be around 75ah
I'm happy to be proven wrong on this of course.
I suspect the 100ah leisure leelisa26 is talking about is located elsewhere.

I've decided I'll take my chance and have gone with a standard starter Bosch as battery no 2. I know it wont last as long but it's not the end of the world.

i will put the measurements up tomorrow of the battery, i brought a bosch one previously but that didnt fit it was only a nats whisker tho you will find that all the leisure batterys come in different sizes from make to make.
my grandad always used to have the big one in there to but when i got it was a 075 starter battery which isnt very good at all

thing is if you don't fully discharge it regularly (lower than 11 volts) then it will last for a while

Alpha suggested a 90ah leisure for £80 to me - but I can't find it on their website, and they've gone very quiet ever since.

I got a leisure battery from Alpha and the only one that is low profile and the right length was a 75A one.

Cut'n'paste from his reply...
John at Alpha Batteries wrote:We do a 90ah battery at £79.99 delivered inc vat. It is 305mm x 175mm x 175mm. We do a cheaper one at £64.99 but it is 190mm tall.

I may have got mixed up. I think the 90A one you mentioned might be the one I got in the end. I do remember it being a tight fit. One thing to be aware of is that the battery cable terminals may be slightly proud of the top of the battery. I had to cover them with something to insulate them from the underside of the battery box lid.
Cheers

The 90amp on the website is 310 x 175 x 190 high @ £62.99
