I have leak from the throttle spindle on the fuel pump, I had the rod and cable end off cleaned it up etc and tightened the lockating nut right up and still drips a bit?
Common? Seal gone? Or is it a new pump as "they can't be over hauled"

common, seals, or spindle wear, may allow air in too. Any competant diesel specialist can fix, budget £100, but I'm sure Simon will be along to advise you better.

I had exactly this problem on my diesel. A steady drip of fuel from spindle pooling on cylinder head by glow-plugs - very worrying as I had only just picked the camper up! BUT I got a cheap and proper fix. Simply replace the sealing washer under the lever. It's a strange cross-sectional shape seal but I got one from Poole Diesels 01202 749071 for a £1.00 .
Job done!
