Hi folks..is the carb in the syncro the same as the carb in my 2wd? The one in the syncro needs work...just wondered if the spare I have in the garage can be bolted on to see if it cures my very high idle issue.

basically yes but syncro may have extra fuel reservoir attached to swap over

we have the plastic pot behind the carb - guessing this is the extra fuel reserve that you speak of? This can be connected to a new (different) carb?
