Whats the engine? do they look original? are they in a loom or separate? where do they enter the engine bay? I take it they aren't connected to anything.... and everything is working OK?
My stab in the dark is a disconnected immobiliser.

hi thanks for reply there enter engine bay just next engine bay fuse box on left side as u look at engine.
i think the red one is for glow plugs and red with yellow tracer is coolant temp gauge but not sure on the rest
they look original and the engine origianlly was a 1.6td jx engine

black ignition is probably the fuel cut of soleniod on the fuel pump.
feed to glow plugs is red (heavy duty thick wire)
yellow red is coolant temperature sender
white black is left rear turn indicator
yellow is high rev low pressure oil sensor
brown is usually an earth connection for something, posably the earth for the glow plug solenoid in the black box on the left has side of the engine bay?
Just some others while your there...
grey white is fog light
black blue is reversing light
temperature sender for glow plugs is white blue
feed to temperature sensor for the auxilliary pump is brown red
blue black is low rev low pressure oil sensor
black green is right rear turn indicator

the person i bought this t25 of as started to fit a aaz engine conversion from a jx engine and im struggling with where the wiring goes to on new engine
the wires come in to engine bay on left side
the wires i have are:
red which i think is for glow plugs
yellow
black with white tracer
black which i think is for the fuel on of solenoid
red with yellow trace i think is for the coolant temp sensor , (unsure where this goes to on aaz engine as coolant temp sensor has 4 wires)
green with white tracer
green with black tracer
also i have a brown wire which comes through into engine bay along with vaccuum hose next to engine fuse/relay box see picture

I answered your post before... best keep the same thread running rather than starting a new post.

Can't help you any more than your previous post with most of wiring colours because I don't have a JX, but I have noticed a couple of things from your photo.
1. The new looking big fat red wire to the starter solenoid, together with the black/red trigger wire should be firmly tied to the side of the solenoid with a cable tie. If you don't, the connections to the solenoid won't last long due to vibrations.
2. You will need to fit original JX (or CS or KY) water flanges to the rear of the cylinder head (towards front of van), and to the side of the head. These alloy flanges have the sensors for glow plugs (blue/white wire?) in the end of the head, and temp gauge (yellow/red?) in the side of the head. These sensors don't need a separate earth wire, as they are earthed through the metalwork to the engine. The sensors in the plastic flanges will need an original style plug, and a separate earth wire, and I'm not even sure whether they will give an accurate reading with the van gauges.
3. You will probably need a 600Ohm resistor in the (blue/white?) wire to the glow plug sensor. Many 1.9 engines won't start from hot without a short shot of glow plug, and this resistor will sort that problem.

Whatever it is it's not original, trace the other end of the wire and see what its hooked up to.
