Steering wheel nut

Went to swap over my ignition switch as per wiki, and I haven't got a socket that fits the nut on the steering wheel!
Will have to visit halfrauds and pick one up, does anyone know the size of the nut?

Pretty sure its 27mm. Measure across it - flat to flat. Could be 24mm though.

Thanks for that. I thought it was 22 and bought it only to find it was too small and rather buy a 23 and find the same ,I thought I,d ask here.thanks again

be careful.....the nut behind the wheel is the most dangerous feature on any vehicle
