Wiper mechanism advice please.

Hi I`ve nearly got the dash out tonight. It got too dark. Just got to remove choke and vent sliders. The rest is done. Can someone tell me if the wiper mechanism. Is behind the heater matrix? As my wipers are slow as hell. Can I grease the linkage to speed it up. Bare in mind they were seized when I got it. So I had to pull the arms to stop the motor smoking. LOL But still way too slow. It was a early panel van by the way, so I think it only has two speeds.

Best to change it mate. Mine was really slow and started blowing fuses. And you've already got the dash out, so should be a piece of cake Geoff.

As said, change the motor too. A strained electric motor never recovers and to go that far it seems daft not to swap it out for one in better condition - well, unless you really DO want to do the job all over again....

Thanks everyone. Ive replaced the motor for new £20 on fleebay. It`s working alot better. And an easy job. The hard bit is gettig the heater housing apart and washing matrix out and replacing the blower motor.
