Before I spend more money at a garage can anyone help? Brake lights and reversing lights don't work anymore. Fuses good and bulbs ok. Checked under front display cover and all connected. Any ideas please?

Spend a fiver on a cheap voltmeter - then check see if theres 12V at back lights and check earths. Cheaper than a garage.

Thanks, turns out it is my Reverse pressure switch and my Brake pressure switch!
EASY OR HARD TO CHANGE MYSELF?
All posts and links would be grateful!

Both are simple screw in devices, one triggered by bydraulic pressure in the brake master cylinder (underneath the instrument binnacle) the other is a traditional sprung loaded mechanical switch screwed into the side of the gearbox.
Both pretty easily changed by a reasonably savy home mechanic.

Brake light switch is a taper screw thread so don't go mad trying to screw it all the way in (quick one out one in..quick as you can, no need to bleed the brakes)

Completed reverse light switch, brake switch 3 pin not 2 pin reordering from JK.
Noticed 2 similar switches one steering wheel side the other wind screen side attached to master cylinder under binnacle, seems to be some contrasting thoughts on which one I need to change!
HELP please!

Just read tech archive appears like there are 2 brake light switches, on the master cylinder, most annoying as both are probably dead, have 1 new one on the way but which one is best to change? Windscreen side or steering wheel side? Help please!

Then the switch needs a washer of two to make it not so long !
