Following on from 76Barn's post about rust treatment, I will be going down the Vactan route in a while, to deal with a few spots of rust on my own bus.
But in order to prepare the areas, and to ensure all paint and rust is removed, rather than sanding, has anyone bought/used a portable sandblaster, and if so:

Recommended model?
Recommended bar pressure for using it? (I have access to air cylinders and adapters, so may not need to use a compressor).

hi yep any of the cheapo hand helds work, even the lidyl ones, just do away with the catch bags and all the paraphenalia, sod my spekling is gettoing worse. air supply ie cfm is wahts needed but for spots the little unit im selling will cope, (i have used it for thast purpose)
if you have o2 sized cyc's of air great but what are you regging the hp down with that will also have the correct flow, tescom 33 series may just hack it at 8-10bar but more than your pocket I fear!
other imposrtant point is the medium for blasting, i use a few but a stonegrit superfine at under a tenner for 37.5kg is good for most work

Will be linking to 12 or 15 litre dive type cylinders - and as thats my job, no issues with the regulators/connectors, just needed to know what bar pressure is recommended to work these things to best advantage? Cheers.
