How tall is your bus?

Hello, I'm sure this has been asked before.
I have plans to park my bus (when I get it) in a shipping container during the worst of the winter weather. Also There are a lot of height restrictions round here.
I was told at the weekend that even a lowered westy is taller than 2m. This is gonna cause some problems for me if that's the case.
What about Devon, Autosleepers etc

My PopTop Westy on standard wheels and springs is more than 2.1 but less than 2.2..
A lowered Westy (you can't go that low because of the waste/gas/ebber etc.. -50mm would be severe) probably still over 2m but very close.
I suppose if you were talking long term storage then you could buy a cheap set of steel wheels (almost give them away on here) and put some scrappy 185/50 14's ..175/50 14's that would certainly drop it quite a bit...not for driving on mind..

I couldn't imagine anything worse than a shipping container to store a van in.

I'd expect any poptops to be about the same height. A tintop will be a little lower, though.

There are tables of the various model dimensions in the Wiki (up the top of the page), right at the bottom, under the heading "T25 Camper Manuals, VW manuals, Specifications, Literature, Magazine Articles".
Any tin-top should get in under 2.0m, but anything taller than that (or a Syncro) and you're going to struggle.
It might help if we knew how tall the container was.

Thanks for the heads up on the wiki
The only reason i'm thinking of the shipping container is that its on my father-in-laws office / workshop property, is currently unused, and as I don't have access to a garage thought would be a solution to get the van out of the weather for the worst of the winter when salt is spread on the road.
I would fit a couple of vents to get some air circulating and could even line with celotex.

in a word.. condensation
I use my van all year round, I wax it, and it is undersealed... putting it in a cold damp steel container without any means to dry naturally would ruin it an accelerate any rust that has taken hold
put it in a container, yes but seal it in, along with a de humidifier or moisture trap.
