Where is the bled screw on a diesel?

Hi folks, I have had a search and read the posts on bleeding the coolant but can anyone advise where the bleed screw is on a diesel?
The van was originally a 1.6 diesel but I believe it is now a 1.9 non turbo, I thought the code read 1V but I am informed it is more likely to be a 1Y as it has no turbo.
I understand there should be a bleed screw on the radiator but can anyone advise where it might be on the engine?

Thanks,Will :) .

No bleed screw on engine, there is one on the radiator, which is at front of van. Top left of rad, you have to remove top grill.
