Put some new tyres on this today......









Spent longer standing back & looking at it than fitting the wheels.

I think it looks F'king awesome, but what do you think?

What size are they?

I think they were/are 215 65 16's but they maybe 225's.

Can you remember where you bought them? Will be looking for a good deal on a set of BFG shortly.

I got them from Futbus last year, don't think he has any left. I'll be after some 15's soon, if you hear of any good deals.

Interested to see what looks like a directional arrow on that rear tyre. Are BFGs directional then?

No, they are not. Never by directional tyres for a syncro.

After a bit of research for online prices for tyres only, I have just done a deal with a Euro ATS Branch to supply and fit 5 on new 15" mefros I supplied for £117 a lump, balancing, vat the lot.

You're syncro looks in great condition, but why does it appear to be so high. I have an issue with my Auto-sleeper high top where the front end looks like yours(ie gap between wheel arch & tyre) & the rear gap is approx 40mm less. I have been thinking that the front springs are wrong, but seeing yours which appears to have the same gap as mine, is now making me think again about whether the problem is the front or rear springs. Have you had your springs replaced or has it always been that way, or is the syncro model different to the T25? Hope you can clear up this mystery for me, thanks.

Yes buddy Syncros have totally different running gear, they have a whole seperate 4x4 drive train & sit about 45mm higher because of this.
Your saggy rear end could be down to tired of broken rear springs or is overloaded.
If not full of junk, First thing is to take the rear wheels off & check rear springs for broken pig-tails (curly spring ends).
