Leak

Hi all,
I have a 1991 T25 RIchard Holdsworth conversion. My problem is that when the roof is up and it rains heavily it leaks through the rear tail gate seal and onto the bed!! Very bad at 2am!! It's seems to be that waters tips directly off the roof onto this corner and it can't cope. The rubbers are good and it's fine when the roof is not up even in really heavy rain...we go off to Scotland in October for 3 weeks so I really need to get this sorted!! Does anyone have any ideas lease??
