What the bloody hell is that whistling noise?

V. annoying whistling noise that only appears at 60mph+
Sounds like a very large whistling kettle.
Seems to be coming from somewhere high up on the passenger side but not 100%.
Fixed the rest of the squeaks and noises so if I could get this last one I'd be well happy - it's driving me nuts!
Pretty sure it's caused by wind noise/ passage of air rather than a squeaky component - but what do I need to fix to stop it?

Window seals?
Door seals?
Pop top? (Holdsworth rigid sided pop)
Ventilation system? (yeah I know that's lower down but I'm clutching at straws now)
Not seen this on the form to date and have done a search for whistling so not sure if this is a common problem maybe?
Can anyone give me any pointers in tracking it down please?

Ta
:ok

It could be the lack of whistle strips..

Mine did this recently and it was the opening quarter light seal, it had popped out a bit. Pushed it back in and all ok.

I had it from the top of the passenger door - just adjusted in a little to cure it.

Don't have an opening quarter light so probably not that.
Guessing whistle strips are as rare as rocking horse teeth (or hens sh!t for that matter) and twice as expensive. The name suggests this could be the solution though eh?
I'll try the adjustment of the door.
Trial and error to get it right I guess?

V interesting.
Perhaps I should've searched for whistle rather than whistling...:?
I've got some of that same type of seal left over from another job. Nothing on that thread to say if it eventually worked or not.

We used to get as whistling noise, sometimes it sounded like I had a little bird under the passenger seat and it turned out to be worn upper wishbone bushes

To trace the noise simply tape up the joints/openings temporarily, road testing as you add/move tape.
At least you can pinpoint the troublsome area and then think on the solution...
