hi all, advise needed on water proofing my awning and poptop canopy, what best to use and were do i get it from

You can buy it online or at your local camping shop. I have had superb results with this stuff over many years of tent camping. You can re-proof your outdoor rain clothes with it too. You can put it on with either a paintbrush or a roller. 5 litres does a medium sized canvas frame tent. It takes a few hours to dry completely during which time it is best to stay outside of the awning (Fumes as it dries and pongs a bit too. Once dry, no smell at all.) Personally, I wouldn't use anything else. I have tried all sorts of products over the years but never found anything to beat this stuff.

I used to use the building waterproofer called Thompsons water seal with great results (because I got it cheap at the bootsales)

Applied it (smelly) and have not had the awning rained on since (not used it )
