Hello, folks. It's "the wrong van", but I hope you still enjoy this collection. The images are intended for a screen resolution of 1366 x 768. Each set can be viewed as a Slideshow. There are captions for most shots. If you want to read them, I'm sure you can find them.

Thanx, Louey. This time last year I went a bit sulky after our cam belt snapped near Annecy 25,000 miles before due for changing. After the van was repatriated all it needed was a vast amount of money top put it right! We were due to land in Calais this evening for a whizz down to Portugal (or Croatia, or wherever), but rellies old and young are unwell-ish so we've postponed that trip 'til next May and this month we'll potter around the UK instead.

Did you manage to get to the different "sets" of images OK? Or was it a fiddly nuisance?

It was easy but I guess that because I live on a computer I wouldn't have a problem. I 've not done much travelling the last two years - I need to rectify that, hopefully next summer :D

Very well composed and interesting pics as always Noomo.

BTW, I've spent the past two years helping my son to restore a 1992 reimo miami t4 camper. It's turned out to be an excellent and characterful van with the best VW conversion I've seen. It's a poptop like yours. The t4 is an excellent van. (Not intending to annoy t3 owners, after all, I've had 3 over the years and a *spit* 1973 bay) I still love the t3.

Frank.

Yes, I never tire of that part of the Swiss-French border. After being pleasantly surprised on several visits it reliably continues not to let us down.

Thanx, Frank. I did at first assume that a Westy conversion was best, but have seen others as good and one better - by a small firm in Devon (Exeter?). Our 2003 van has topped 200,000 miles - 130,000 since 2006 have been ours - and it causes me no worries other than a nagging feeling that it looks boring!

I've since found I'd failed to make public the last set, "Sisteron", etc. I've now corrected that.

Thank you, Rob.

(We're just back from four nights up the east coast - Craster (nr Alnwick), to Milton Haven (nr St Cyrus, nr Montrose). It seemed a bit odd, too easy, to be booking in at campsites, and shopping, etc., in English, and being able to receive English language radio channels. The weather was quite British too).
