Also do all LPG pumps stop dispensing when the tank is full (80%)?

A new looking one slowed down but an older one I used kept on going past 48 litres (if I'd of let it)

Shaun I've had that as well, Texaco pump near me puts in 50 litres, don't know whether to be chuffed to get some extra in, or miffed cos the pumps not calibrated correctly

All seems to depend on pressure - some will go on for longer.

TOP TIP FOR THIS AREA:

Don't use the station on the M6 north of penrith at tebay services (46.9 per litre or prob more now) , instead pull off at J38 2 miles south and use the ones at:
