After getting fed up with the faff involved in getting stuff in and out of our rear 'wardrobe' particularly when we're loaded up, I finally persuaded the OH to cut a further door allowing access from the rear of the vehicle.
I'm pleased with the results but now have to decide - to fablon or not to fablon??

How it was :

Removal of revolting brown gluelike stuff:

Job done (apart from the fablon)?? Any Thoughts for or against?

I wouldn't bother with Fablon, The wood looks good now the brown gunge is gone. Sand it down lightly and apply a coat of Ronseal clear varnish.

:ok

Clear varnish seems much easier to apply than fablon (cheaper too) thanks.
