anyone adjusted gear linkages available west london area?!

hi there. i have had this problem for some time, i am wondering if anyone would be available to help me that has been through this before, adjusting the plate under the gaiter? not sure that would be enough, has anyone local taken the turret off under the van taken out and adjusted up the spline on the front gearshaft from here, the gears are only slightly out and they're fine when cold!
