we are hopefull off here in two weeks time, any reviews from those that have been ?

staying fri night / at and returning late sunday .

I understand it is popular - you can have open fires.

We pulled up there earlier in the year and it was a bit overcrowded so we moved up the road. But people who have stayed there always say it is good. I think Jamesandtheopenroad has stayed there.

i have heard that at peak times it can be crowed, but i expect mid sept will be ok . if it goes well ill go for longer next time . we are looking to do a few short weekends away to make use of daisy . i no there are a few sites within a few miles , so we can alway just as you did move up the road .

we are off tomorrow after work , hope to arrive around 1900.. just in time to get the awning up . the a few night s camping with the kids .. ill report back with a few pics for those that are intrested
