Propex on LPG

I have a westy gas tank under one of my vans(LPG for fridge, cooker)
i am going to be fitting a propex in the van.I have read that there is a heat output difference beetween using propane and butane.
I am a total novis on LPG side so am after the awnser to wich one is LPG
Propane or butane or neither?

Russel, its a mixture of both, 60/40 this enables it to withstand low temperatures and will not freeze until -26.8 degrees, I've fitted loads of propexs and they run very nicley on a 37mbar reducer.
Make sure your reducer is not the german 50mbar otherwise it will go over pressure and keep blowing out.
