Our curtains are lined with thermal material.

Do you havethe pattern pointing inside like at home or the pattern showing outwards - there seems to be a lot of Bays that like to look pretty!

Ours face inside and i'm happy with that because the pattern is bleedin' awful and i wouldn't want to force it upon the outside world. We're going to get some new ones soon.

Well, I have the pattern inside, cos the seats sort of match the curtains, and it looks all pretty when they are tied back......ish Any nosey git looking in just gets to see the thermal lining!

TBH the thermal lining would be outside for me (tho Iam looking at window sets)

Ours is 50:50 - our unlined monstrosities have some pattern in and some out.

I was looking at some of the vans at the show in Halifax today and i'm going to get some new curtains but take them off the curtain rail and thread them onto some curtain wire top and bottom so they don't hang loose. I think. Has anyone else got their curtains on wire ?

Ours hang loose, and it is a bit intrusive and makes the space feel smaller inside. The tailgate one is tucked behind a wire at the bottom.

Nope - mines a real face tickler when laid in bed.

We've got press studs on the corners of each curtain that attach to the van but the thread at the top of the curtain that goes onto the rail is getting a bit threadbare/knackered so we thought we'd try threading them onto wire for a change.

We've got a load of small round magnets that keep the bottom of the curtains in against the metal on the van, it's become a bedtime game to see who can nab the most magnets to go their side of the van.
As for the curtains, i like the large colourful spots on them so passers by get the lining.

There is a system that has a curtain rail at the bottom too so that the curtains are held taught when closed, some posh name I can't recall at the moment but I think I saw a post on here about them before.

Our van curtains don't have a lining but the new awning curtains made by Lorraine have a lining sandwiched between two patterned layers so that they are the same inside or out!!

My curtains are made from denim, was cool now faded, shrunk and dont seem to matter which way they go and rarely meetin the middle. still a kind of retro look when pinned back.

Yep - I did ours on curtain wire top and bottom. Much tidier

That's being a curtain twitcher that causes that

Hi purple spot, i dont cutain twitch its just me trying to stop the curtains from the concertina effect, on a curtain note lion king at bristol was fantastic, may go for animal print curtain next, hakuna matata tune has got stuck i my head
