And its not a bomb  Any idea,s i have checked for stones in the tyre, but it is that sort of sound. however the sound is coming from the offside rear wheel and is a lot more noticeable when taking a long sweeping curve to the left, and does ,nt seem to make the noise when steering to the right, any ideas peeps?

Cheers

Hello,

Kids put gravel in your hubcap :?:

Wheel nuts properly tightened :?:

When were the rear hubs last pulled... maybe a broken spring in there...

Or just the usual hub bearing / CV joint issues...

Cordialement,

:ok

I had the self adjuster pawl (the bit riveted on to the shoe that engages with the adjuster) snap in half on mine.
I heard it go as I pulled away, a big springy twang sound, followed by the sort of noise you describe.

It would be worth checking the drum brake for any broken bits.

Done that and it spins freely with no noises, but when driven there is deffo a ticking noise when steering to the left, which dissapears when straightening up
