Is there a list on here somewhere listing all the available parts that are compatible with the T25 from other VW models? If not, would it be a good idea to start a list?

Anyone from the mod team think this would be a worthy sticky to contribute to?

I could do with a list of T25 parts that fit my T3. There don't seem to be that many! Plenty of Golf, Passat and various Audi though.

Exactly, so a list members can contribute to would certainly help others here for sure.

tbh there's very little in common with the rest of the VW/audi range, few bits of golf and LT, few bits of audi, otherwise pretty much unique
audi clock modules of that era can be used to replace knackered ones of ours but very few cars of that era still running or in scrap yards and little that came after 1990 fits, wiring plugs changed to JT type, more digital stuff etc....
T4 shares more in common with later Golfs/front engined stuff fairly similar in design, some interchangability in 02family of gearboxes etc..

mk2 golf rear washer jet.
scirroco boot lock button. rocco inner headlights
idle valve mk2 gti golf theres a few i can think of

Passat electric window switch.

Golf / Scirocco / Early Passat heater blower motor.

Window winder handles from a bug will fit all up to the T25.

so do audi 80 ones and mk2 golf ones the audi are real nice cast alloy.
as do early t4 steering wheels, direct fit with no mods

So Audi A6 rear window winders and they are much stronger than the T3 items.

Sirocco interior light fits the glove box light on my California.

It's so different from owioning a mini where any BMC parts from the previous forty years (within reason) could be bodged into an upgrade. Damn those in Wolfsburg for reenineering in the name of progress!
