This has been mulling over in my mind for the past few months (its all simon aka toomanytoys fault for suggesting it) and I was wondering who would be on for competing in the Breslau Rallye next year for Charity. There are two rallys one is in Poland/Germany and will run for a week at the end of june to the beginning of july and the other one which I would imagine next year would be in Bulgaria and runs at the end of september. There are two categories extreme, which is probably too extreme for syncros and rally raid which would be ideal for syncros. Anyway I am volunteering Tinkerbelle as a rally vehicle and neil had volunteered his doka as a support the fees seem to be quite high for the two events approx 900 euros for the shorter german one (2.5 days for rally raid from what I could make out) and approx 2000 euros for the longer Balkan event ( a week for rally raid).
However if we could form a team of people to share expenses the cost would not be that great. If anyone is interested in becoming part of this project lets put a list together whether it be interested parties to do the trip, support crews, mechanical skills, parts, design, fundraising sponsorship documentation, ideas etc and see what we can come up with we have a year :)
We might not beat many bowler wildcats but it would be fun trying to in an old pick up some might not even finish

i`d be up for a bit of that, count me in
gonna be breaking a few syncros soon if we need some spares
:ok
if we are going to invest so much effort then surely the long one in september would be the way to go
DEATH OR GLORY

Yup as previously discussed. I am up for it. Charity a great idea. Might be an idea to go with one fuel source. Whacky Syncro Races, you can be the Bouldermobile :)

I'd be up for a bash.
The German one is on my doorstep and I should be able to provide a base if necessary.

I'm willing to throw in a couple of euros.

I reckon I could put in a few hours/parts etc in exchange for some big H.E.Co. stickers on the wagon

Now you need a sticker supplier or is David doing the graphics for the wagon?

P.S. This all sounds a bit familiar, weren't you talking about this last year Paul?

:rofl :rofl My fault...... :rofl :rofl

Well another thing wont hurt...... :rollin

I'll need a couple more weeks to know if its possible for me.. But in principal... I am in of course... :ok

The goal would be to actually finish.. we already know we wont win, so to beat any big money teams by finishing would be a real bonus...

Whats the LPG refuling like out them parts???

My logic tells me the best format would be taking vehicles with common engine , gearbox etc etc to compliment the spares taken as well. Also dokas seat 5/6

Good opportunity to get the UK Syncronauts club some exposure via well placed stickers.

Personaly I think a single suport vehicle will never be enough.. it will always be either tyring to keep up or racing ahead.. need 2 min so can leapfrog, offer suport as an when... and what happens if something major breaks?? how you gonna get it all back?? PM on its way...
